Hard mtn dew2/17/2024 ![]() It looks like a damn Willy Wonka drink, if Wonka wanted to get kids drunk instead of murder them. ![]() Once it’s in the glass, a lovely reverse rainstorm of CO2 floats its way to the top of the cup. This pours like regular Baja Blast, fresh out of the Taco Bell tap but with (slightly) less carbonation. It should take about 15 minutes at this rate. I just want to pour it into a 52-ounce cup filled with crushed ice, stick a two-foot straw into it and sip it at a tailgate until I forget I rode two hours to watch a Vanderbilt game. Mountain Dew always made a good diet soda, so the swap of sugar/corn syrup for whatever saccharine substitute they’ve got going on here isn’t especially noticeable.īut I drink those sugar-free versions a lot, so maybe I’m numb to it. This tastes like a soda - I’m not getting any booze in these sips - and a pretty good one at that. This is a sugary delight, and the alcoholic, acidic tang of bad wine or neutral spirits is swept away in that sweetness. It smells like Boone’s Farm, which *further* bums me out. This is only “watermelon,” however, and it bums me out. The non-alcoholic version of this is called “Major Melon,” which sounds like it’s 91 percent of the way to an ’80s adult film title. Summer 2023 was the backdrop for a Baja Blast-themed extension that brings the Hard MTN Dew portfolio up to eight flavors.Īnd, because I am a journalist, I am ranking them. And I clearly wasn’t the only one, as the folks behind the launch haven’t just expanded to new territories - 14 states and counting - but new flavors. When I reviewed it last year I was seriously impressed with the amount of true-to-brand flavor the company was able to cram into each can with a seltzer-style calorie payload (and more booze than a light beer). Instead, we live in an era where we can simply choose to do so. Gone are the days where you had to mix tequila or vodka into your neon green beverage to create that perfect combat margarita taste. And at five percent alcohol and 100 calories, it’s a proper contender to the throne of an ever-expanding hard seltzer/canned cocktail empire. Not the traditional soft drink version, of course, but Hard MTN Dew is a malt beverage true to its original roots. (One of those is fake, but you’ll have to figure it out on your own.) And now we have HARD MTN DEW, perfect for quietly sipping at a family gathering while your cousin talks about how not getting vaccinated actually makes them a genius.īoozy Mountain Dew pairs best with mac-and-cheese ice cream and ignoring what’s good for you.A burgeoning new world of alcohol is upon us. ![]() Mountain Dew has also come in Southern Shock, Berry Monsoon, Hurricane Dew, and Cake Smash. There’s Mountain Dew White Out for when regular cloudy water just won’t do. There’s Mountain Dew Pitch Black, for when you want your beverage to match your dark and citrusy soul. Lest you forget, there is already a Mountain Dew for most every occasion. Tangerine? Pamplemousse? Whatever electricity tastes like? An unannounced fourth flavor is also in the works, and who’s to say what that could be. However, it will come in three different flavors: original, black cherry, and watermelon. Unfortunately - thankfully? - the boozy Mountain Dew will not be caffeinated. Unlike any other hard soda, it will taste like a cocktail mixed by your preteen self.įor those hoping hard Mountain Dew would fill a Four Loko–shaped void in their bar cart, you’ll have to keep searching. Like most other hard sodas, HARD MTN DEW will have 5 percent ABV. Boston Beer Company also makes Truly Hard Seltzer, and I guess it couldn’t just rest on the laurels of its spiked-seltzer success. You can thank and/or blame Boston Beer Company and PepsiCo for this forthcoming concoction. Batten down the hatches and gird your livers accordingly. Hard Mountain Dew - excuse me, HARD MTN DEW - is coming in 2022. It was only a matter of time before boozy Mountain Dew became A Thing, and it appears that time is now. The GPS does acquire quickly and seems to be as accurate as my Fenix in the few activities that I have tracked. This is important when considering accuracy in different environments, but also for speed of acquisition. The Instinct’s GPS Tracking uses a few different satellite systems. I don't like it because accuracy suffers big time, but if I had to stretch my battery, this is the mode I’d use. Ultra track is Garmin’s battery saving GPS mode. The battery lasts up to 14 days in normal or smartwatch mode, up to 16 hours in GPS mode, and up to 40 hours in Ultra Trac mode. Here I made a list of the most notable features of the Garmin Instinct and explained why I think they are important and or useful. It’s built to be durable and reliable, yet it also keeps all of the features you need to be active, and informed, especially when in the backcountry. The Garmin Instinct is Garmin’s first outdoorsman’s watch. Interestingly enough, the NEW Garmin Instinct does ALL of this. Looking at data in Garmin Connect (phone app).Smartwatch notifications (texts, alerts, emails).Activity tracking (running, hiking, weight lifting). Here are the features I rely on daily and/or when I’m in in the field: But more importantly I know what I actually use it for, both at home on a daily basis, and when I’m hunting. Never the less I have had the flagship Garmin watch now for a few months and know what it can do (ok, actually I know about 60% of what it can do). The fact that I have an expensive Garmin watch has more to do with me being able to get a discount from Garmin, and less about me getting what I want. I have a feeling maybe some of you may be in the same boat as me, whether you want to admit it or not. Once I got married, I became one of those guys who WISHED he had the latest, greatest techy gear. And that is why I currently have a Garmin Fenix 5x plus on my wrist. I have to have the latest greatest techy gear no matter what the cost. The Garmin Instinct Who says tough can't be smart?

It is also possible to send the data via your live streaming server, but this requires more equipment and technical knowledge. Tummy tuck belly button with scar2/16/2024 ![]() Visually the scar will still be fairly dark and may be reddish in color (due to blood supply in the wound). ![]() This is where external support like tape can be helpful and why we recommend patients use it AT LEAST until 2 months after surgery. Concurrently, during this period of turnover your internal stitches will be weakening and unable to provide as much support to the incision. This collagen is stronger but takes time to produce. The initial disorganized collagen (think about it as the old pick-up sticks game) will be broken down and replaced with more organized ‘braids’ of collagen. ![]() Wound healing is dynamic and actively changes over time. Although quick to produce, this collagen is not as strong as final mature scar. On a microscopic level, your cells are trying to hold the wound together, and will produce a more disorganized collagen network to help bridge the wound. Nowadays, most incisions will be reinforced with either tape or glue, and you may not be able to see your incision. Swelling, inflammation, and a bit of oozing are the norm at this stage. There may be ridges or pleats in the skin. Below you can see the general description of the healing process of tummy tuck scars indifferent stages. ![]() Your general health and wellbeing clearly play a role in how fast and how well your scars heal and fade. These include age, nutrition, genetics, compliance(or noncompliance) with postoperative care instructions, smoking, infection, tension, size, activities, and overall body composition. Many factors that influence scar healing are specific to each patient. These occur when patients do not have a lot of excess skin, but more loose skin than liposuction alone can handle.

Apple smart keyboard folio 112/16/2024 ![]() But first, let’s examine the two Income Statement accounts, revenue and expenses. We must define the double-entry bookkeeping system to understand how credits and debits relate to this balance. This seemingly simple equation is vital in accounting because it balances the company’s finances. The basic accounting equation asserts that assets must always equal liabilities plus equity. ![]() So, every time a liability increases, we credit that line item, and when it decreases, we debit it. Liabilities represent an outflow of economic benefits, such as utility expenses, interest payments on an overdraft facility, employees’ salaries, etc.Įquity is what is left after a business uses its assets to pay off its liabilities. And when an asset decreases, we credit it. When they increase in value, we debit the account. Recording Assets, Liabilities, and EquityĪssets, liabilities, and equity are Balance Sheet items and components of the basic accounting equation.Īssets are resources with economic value that the business owns, including its premises, bank balance, company cars, etc. These accounts include assets, liabilities, equity, expenses, and revenue. ![]() On the other hand, credit is used for money going out. When discussing debit, we refer to money coming into an account. So, when a business takes on a loan, it credits its liabilities account. In accounting, credit is the amount added to liability, equity, and revenue accounts and deducted from assets and expense accounts. An example from our everyday lives includes using a credit card to purchase items or cover expenses for which we lack funds. To be on credit means to exceed your available finances. For example, when a pizza shop purchases flour from the local supermarket, it debits the company’s bank account (assets). In accounting, we debit the amount added to assets and expense accounts or deducted from liability, equity, and revenue accounts. When we make payments or withdraw cash from debit cards, we debit our savings or earnings accounts. The verb ‘debit’ means to remove an amount of money, typically from a bank account. It also includes a debits and credits cheat sheet to assist you in determining how to record transactions in a company’s general ledger using the double-entry bookkeеping system. This article helps you grasp the concepts by walking you through the meaning and applications of debit and credit in accounting and how they relate to the fundamental accounting equation. This definition may initially appear counterintuitive if you’re new to the field. Simply put, they are records of financial transactions in business accounts. Credits and debits are common terms in our daily lives but a whole new ballgame in accounting. |
